Since 2012, an updated version of the third generation has been on sale in the Ukrainian market, a model whose appearance was developed at the company’s design centre in Nice. Toyota Avensis received upgraded LED optics and restyled bumpers. The changes affected not only the exterior design, but also the car’s hidden but no less important components. The independent rear suspension was strengthened, the shock absorbers were reconfigured, and noise insulation was improved. The model also features a new multimedia system with a 6.1-inch touchscreen display with the ability to display a rear-view camera.

Standard equipment includes cruise control, dual-zone climate control, leather steering wheel and gear lever, heated front seats, a 6-speaker audio system with Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity, 7 airbags, brake and stability control systems. The most striking difference between the most equipped configuration, in addition to the expanded list of equipment, is the combined leather and Alcantara seat upholstery.

As an alternative to the sedan, Toyota Avensis is offered in a station wagon body. Both the sedan and wagon are produced at the Toyota plant in the UK.
