Transmissions for Toyota Land Cruiser Prado are automatic only. The 2.7-liter engine is paired with a four-speed transmission, and the 4-liter engine and diesel are aggregated with a five-speed gearbox.

As for the dimensions of the car, the length of a 3-door version is 4395 mm versus 4840 mm of a 5-door, the wheelbase also became shorter 2450 mm versus 2790 mm, the only thing that remains common is width – the same 1885 mm. There is no doubt that such changes will not benefit rear passengers comfort, and the trunk space is significantly reduced from 621 liters to 381 liters.

In the cabin, except for smaller volume in space, the car also does not differ from the standard version.

The small Prado can be rightly considered the most real SUV, still built on a frame, having permanent four-wheel drive and reduction gear. In addition, the short base gives an advantage on the off-road over its more massive 5-door counterpart.
