Another innovation from Toyota is the Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD system. The essence of such system consists in availability of two individual multidisk clutches on rear wheels, due to which the control of traction vector is realized. Thus, moving on a straight and smooth road, one more additional clutch is capable to completely disconnect a back axle. The Lexus UX is equipped with similar technology, and the Nissan Juke has something similar.

In the European market, Toyota RAV4 is equipped with a 2-liter atmospheric motor (M20A-FKS) with 173 hp and 208 Nm of torque. This car can be equipped with both a six-speed manual and a variator. And the 2.5 (A25A-FKS) engine, familiar to us from Camry model is available for American customers.
