There are no global changes in architecture of the front end – all control units are on the same place. But they are all designed differently. Rudder, dashboard (analog, though with a large display between the scales), multimedia unit (with 9- or 12.3-inch touch screen) and climate control unit (in spite of modern trends, with physical buttons) – everything looks different. Also the expansion of the central tunnel is noticeable to the naked eye. Behind the automatic transmission selector is now hidden a recess with wireless phone charging, and the engine start button is equipped with a fingerprint sensor.

The second row, folding in the proportion 40:20:40, for the first time can be equipped with ventilation seats, and the option of separate climate zones for each passenger is available. The rear door is now made in one piece, rising upwards (has an electric drive). Optional third-row seats are now hidden in the basement, and the spare tire is mounted under the bottom.

The list of available equipment for Toyota Land Cruiser includes Toyota Safety Sense set of electronic assistants, 20-inch wheels, adaptive LED headlights, sunroof, leather interior trim, heated all seats, steering wheel and windshield, driver seat position memory, all-around vision cameras, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, JBL audio system with 14 speakers and projection display.

Toyota Land Cruiser 200 is offered in six trim levels: Elegance, Prestige and Premium. The initial version provides:

– 14 airbags, including for the driver’s and front passenger’s knees;
– anti-theft alarm with immobilizer;
– Off-road driving system with terrain selection – MTS (Multi-Terrain Select);
– Crawl Control off-road assistance system;
– Hill assist control (Hill assist control);
– Offroad turn assist system OTA (Offroad Turn Assist);
– A system for improving traffic stability and off-road capabilities
