2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid Owner's Manual
The Toyota Corolla Sedan Hybrid is a front-wheel drive C-class sedan with a hybrid powertrain. The world debut of the twelfth-generation sedan took place simultaneously at the US Carmel-by-the-Sea and the Chinese International Show in Guangzhou in autumn 2018.
The twelfth-generation Toyota Corolla will be remembered not only for its transition to the new TNGA (GA-C) modular platform, but also for the introduction of a hybrid version of the sedan. However, the main task of “green” power-unit is the maximum economy of fuel, therefore one should not expect grandiose dynamics from sedan: it overcomes the first hundred for 11 seconds exactly, but average consumption is 3,4 liters per one hundred.
The new platform of Corolla, besides interesting technical innovations (a new multilever behind, low centre of gravity and more rigid body) has allowed designers to make more impetuous and dynamical image. At the same time, unlike its two counterparts, hatchback and station wagon – sedan got its unique design, making it more solid. Well and in good Toyota tradition, the distinctive feature of the Hybrid version, as always, will be blue logos of the brand and a pair of nameplates on the sides and on the boot lid.
