Important changes and behind: the second row of Yaris Cross 2022 in more expensive versions divided in the proportion 40:20:40, and the luggage compartment (390 liters vs. 190 in hatchback) has not only a double level floor, but also a panel, divided in the proportion 60:40. Thus, part of the trunk can be used to transport long vehicles (on a flat area), while the second part still provides access to the interior.

As for powertrains, there are two offered on the European market: an atmospheric petrol engine and a hybrid. The first is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder motor producing 125 hp and 153 Nm of torque. It comes with either a six-speed manual or a Direct Shift CVT (with manual first gear).

The second is the same 1.5 liter engine, downgraded to 92 hp and 120 Nm, combined with an electric motor with 80 hp and 141 Nm of torque (the total output of the unit is 116 hp). The transmission of traction to the front wheels in this case provides e-CVT.

However, you can also order all-wheel drive version E-Four. The traction on the rear axle in this case is not provided by mechanical coupling with the engine through the clutch, and its own electric motor, producing 5.3 hp and 52 Nm. It is activated during acceleration and also when the front wheels lose grip. By the way, in the case of E-Four, independent double wishbone suspension is established instead of semi-independent suspension.

The list of available for Toyota Yaris Cross in Ukraine includes adaptive cruise-control and a system of automatic braking before an obstacle, lane-keeping system, blind spot sensors, full diode light, 17-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, multimedia system Toyota Touch 2 with eight-inch touch screen and support of Apple CarPlay and Anroid Auto, and also wireless charging for the smartphone.
