The novelty will be available with different body types – a sedan, a hatchback and a station wagon. The exterior has been redesigned with a new radiator grille.

The top-end models are also equipped with LED-free headlights with adaptive high beam. The improved versions can also boast of a large 12.3-inch dashboard, which is fully digital. And no small screen of multimedia system, measuring 10.5 inches. For the European market the power units are hybrid only. The first one with the engine of 1.8 litres capacity with 138 horsepower (+18 hp due to the electric motor).

The second is a 2.0-liter engine with 193 horsepower (+15 due to the electric motor). Both engines come with front-wheel drive only. In the US market, the model will come with a 2.0-liter engine that generates 169 horsepower (+30 hp), which will be paired to a continuously variable variator. Sales of the new Toyota Corolla are scheduled for the first quarter of 2023 and the price is not yet known.
