2023 Toyota Rav4 Owner's Manual
This car is a crossover of Japanese production. There is a new, large screen multimedia system in the cabin, the diagonal of which is 10.5 inches (as opposed to 8 inches in previous versions). It supports voice control, a “smart” navigation system (monitors traffic jams, parking places). As an option, there is a traffic sign recognition system.
The new safety system warns about the danger of collision when turning to the left side. There is an emergency steering system, which allows the vehicle to turn if a pedestrian jumps out, for example. The engine lineup has not changed. Two hybrid power units are offered in European countries.
The first is a 2.5-liter atmospheric motor that generates 222 horsepower. Rear wheels electric motor.
The second is a 2.5 liter, with a total output of 306 horsepower. Includes 178 hp internal combustion engine and two electric motors (for each axle). Both variants will be paired with an electromechanical variator without steps.
