2015 Toyota Tundra Owner's Manual
The Tundra’s all-wheel drive system is standard for the class: either rear or all-wheel drive, with a hard-wheel-drive front axle and a lowered row. Available electronic systems Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control.
As for the suspension, there are many options for Toyota’s pickup. Two-tube shock absorbers around the circle are standard (remember, now there is a multilever scheme behind, and two wishbones in front, as before). For a surcharge back you can order a controlled air suspension, as well as adaptive shock absorbers.
With the TRD Off-road package, the Tundra gets Bilstein single-tube dampers and an electronic locking rear differential in the four-wheel drive version. And in the most cross-country TRD Pro version, the car is equipped with Fox shock absorbers with remote reservoirs. In addition, this version is equipped with a different front stabilizer, metal protection, and more “wicked” rubber.
