Prado Owner's Manuals

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado – The fourth generation (J150) four-wheel drive SUV has been produced since 2009. In 2013, the model underwent the first significant update, and in 2017 – the second.

Despite the fact that Toyota called the Land Cruiser Prado 2017 model year new, it is actually a restyled version of a time-tested model. The frame, suspension, steering system, engines, permanent four-wheel drive and Torsen center differential remained unchanged, and the Japanese focused on the design of the car. The updated LC Prado is more similar to the “older” Land Cruiser 200 – the radiator grills are decorated with extended vertical sections, the structure of the headlights and fog lamp sections has been changed.

The hood of the updated SUV and the front fenders are profiled so that the driver has better control over the front edge of the vehicle during maneuvering. When looking at the SUV from the side, you can see that the top point of the front bumper is now higher, and the hood, fender, front and rear bumpers are aligned horizontally. Finally, the configuration of the rear lights with LED stop signals and the design of the alloy wheels (17 or 18 inches, depending on the equipment) have been changed. With a wheelbase of 2790 mm and a ground clearance of 215 mm, the total length of the body increased by 60 mm to 4840 mm.

The twice-restyled LC Prado was distinguished from the original model by its improved geometric passability: the entry angle is 31 degrees, the exit angle is 25 degrees, and the ramp angle is 22 degrees.

In addition to the “exterior”, the interior of the SUV popular in Ukraine has been seriously changed. The upper point of the central console is located below, the optitronic instrument panel is supplemented with a new TFT-display with a diagonal of 4.2 inches. The steering wheel of the updated model came from the “two hundred”, instead of a rocker for switching transmission modes, a large rotary controller is now installed, and in the center is an 8.0-inch touchscreen display of the Toyota Touch 2 media system, and in the top equipment, it is supplemented with a JBL audio system. In addition, ventilation of the front seats and a new all-round vision system became available for some configurations, and the side mirrors now automatically tilt when reversing.

In Ukraine, the reformed Land Cruiser Prado is available with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Engines:
