In U.S. Toyota Camry is available with a 2.0-liter petrol engine (150 hp), and with a 3.5-liter V6 (downgraded from 302 hp to 249 hp).

After the upgrade, the sedan received a modified lane-keeping system, as well as a system of automatic braking when a car or pedestrian is detected during a turn. Among others, these systems are included in the complex of Toyota Safety Sense assistants, which also includes adaptive cruise control.

As for comfort and convenience features, Toyota Camry can be equipped with all-around vision cameras, projection display, three-zone climate control, front seats with electric adjustments and heating/ventilating, driver seat, steering wheel and mirror position memory, wireless charging, and JBL audio system with nine speakers.

The new car is 45 mm longer than its predecessor, and its track has been widened by 1 centimetre. The body colour range now includes 10 colours, with new shades of red and silver. The front optics of the updated Toyota Camry offer original daytime running lights in a single unit with turn signal repeaters. The shape of the main headlamps and, you guessed it, the bumpers has changed. The grille pattern and its “glossiness” depends on the equipment level. The tail lamps have also changed and emphasise the stern line more sharply.
